What city/state were you born in?
I was born in San Diego, CA.
What year did you join the Sisters of the Precious Blood?
Joined C.PP.S in 1974.
Why the Sisters of the Precious Blood?
It was the Sisters' welcoming spirit not only as teacher but friend as well. I was drawn to their spirit of prayer and working with the marginalized.
Who is your favorite Saint?
My favorite saints are Julian of Norwich and Teresa of Avila.
Do you have a favorite prayer or style of prayer?
My favorite style of prayer is sitting with a lit candle, music and/or scripture allowing God to draw me into the quiet of God's presence and listening.
What do you in your spare time?
I garden, walk/hike, volunteer for Five Rivers MetroParks, play games, and watch movies in my spare time.
What is your favorite:
Food: Spanish dishes and ice cream
Movie: Yentl
Holiday: Easter
TV Show: All Rise
What’s been your favorite ministry as a sister?
Each of my ministries has gifted me beyond my wildest dreams. The most rewarding was as a chaplain being at the bedside of one who was entering into new life.
What piece of advice would you pass along to young adults in discernment?
Living, loving, and laughing into daily life brings freedom to know and choose what God may have in store for you.
Remembering you when you were teaching at St John’s. I am retired here in Loveland.
Where do you live now?
